My name is Matthew Minichiello and this is my online portfolio, before we get into detail about my portfolio heres some background information about myself. I am the youngest child in a family of 5 kids, with two loving, hardworking and caring parents. I come from Italian and Newfy lineage which has taught me to be dedicated and hardworking for what I believe in, caring and nurturing as well as strict discipline. I am currently enrolled at Chaminade College finishing up my grade 12 year continuing my move into the workplace next year. I am a student athlete with aspirations to become a professional hockey player as hockey is my passion. I also enjoy other sports like basketball and soccer. I also have aspirations to pursue in the real estate business. In my portfolio you will read about my accomplishments, my volunteer work in society as well as my academic and athletic accomplishments.

Weston Arena
2013-2014
I have been connected to this hockey arena since birth. As you already know I am the youngest of 5 children, who all have played hockey at this arena. I liked to think of that place as my second home, and I treated it that way. Which is why when I was volunteering this was the perfect place for me to give back and help the next generation of hockey stars as I have been helped in the past.
Assisting kindergarten events
2016-2019
From assisting with the kindergarten graduation or the Christmas concert, I have been a good helper to the children at St.Raphael. I enjoy helping children whether its to help them read or to understand things in life I have a strong bond with children.
Tanzania, Africa
Summer of 2015
This was the most eye opening, humbling, and mesmerizing trip I have ever been on in my entire life. My family and I flew to Africa to help out the local schools in Tanzania. Everyday we would wake up early and go to the local schools to either help teach, cook, just watch the children to give the teacher a break, or to play with them and make them forget their situation for a while and just have fun.
